Staying in for the summer

In 1994 ITV famously did all their punditry from an enclosed studio with a picture of Dallas on the wall, leading many to wonder if they were there at all, and as a consequence most of their personnel went on to slag the coverage off. In 1998 the highlights shows came from what appeared to be a giant obelisk in the middle of Paris, with nightlife video on the walls. In 2006 the tradition continues - what is that set supposed to resemble?
